Store opening in Zagreb

January 15, 2010
On 27 November 2009 Flash & Partners is inaugurating a new Nolita & Ra-re store at the West Gate Shopping City opening party being held for the benefit of the press. This shopping centre located to the northwest of Zagreb is the largest in Croatia.
The store will open officially to the public on 12 November with the Nolita and Ra-Re Man and Woman collections on display in its 150-square metres of space.
The store features simple white lacquered fitments with brushed steel hang rails plus vintage chairs and tables. The dark grey resin floor has been chosen deliberately to contrast and enhance the lighter coloured walls and ceiling.
The interior design combines two totally different styles in a single concept, reflecting the differences that distinguish the two brands, which are virtually separated by two wooden vintage tables that divide up the store space.
The watchword that describes the philosophy behind the new store is “Authentic Vintage”. Diligent research and scrupulous art buying has resulted in elements and fittings from different periods being put together to create a link between the two worlds: the 70s represented by Nolita and the 50s with a grunge touch represented by Ra-Re.
A display of the best outfits of the two brands welcomes the customer at the entrance. The wall to the right is entirely dedicated to Nolita and at the end of it there is the more sporty collection, Nolita Moves, while the footwear area is more secluded for those customers wanting to try on shoes. The wall to the left is dedicated to the Rare Donna collection with a large wall-mounted logo that, as for Nolita, draws attention to the brand.
Towards the back of the store the Nolita and Rare women’s collections are separated by the Rare men’s collection.
Colours are also used to set apart the two brands: fuchsia in the Nolita area and dark red in the Ra-Re area. These two colours are also to be found in the illuminated logos at the entrance.

The new Spring/Summer 2010 ADV Campaign

January 1, 2010

The press campaign for the Nolita SS 2010 collection, the most glamorous brand in the Flash & Partners fashion empire, has come up with a theme which identifies closely with the spirit of the brand: parties. And so the masterly lens of Michelangelo Di Battista, the highly acclaimed fashion photographer, gives way to indiscretions, immortalising a woman whose explosive and naive sensuality unwittingly makes her the unsuspecting life and soul of the party.
